HIGHLIGHTS

iQoo has launched various teasers about the upcoming iQoo 11

The flagship smartphone will sport an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate

The iQoo 11 will launch on 2nd December in China and Malaysia

iQoo has confirmed the display specifications of its upcoming iQoo 11, said to launched on 2nd December 2022. The flagship smartphone will be releasing in China and Malaysia in December and is the direct successor to the iQoo 10 (which was rebranded iQoo 9T 5G in India).

In anticipation of the upcoming release, iQoo has begun to drop teasers about the smartphone to get potential buyers excited. The latest version of these teasers confirmed that the smartphone will come with major display upgrades when compared to its predecessor.

iQoo 11 display features

The iQoo 11 will feature a 2K display, according to the firm’s communication on Weibo. The display will have a 144Hz refresh rate along with a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display will offer a brightness of 1800 nits. It will also support LTO technology that will allow the refresh rate to switch dynamically based on the content on the screen. As a result, it should be able to deliver an optimal viewing experience.

iQoo released another teaser that hints at the smartphone’s ability to switch the refresh rate even when on split screen mode. For instance, if you’re splitting the screen to view a video and its comments section, the video displayed at the top half of the screen will have a refresh rate of 60Hz while the comments section will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Other teasers confirm that the smartphone will come with a curved display.

iQoo 11: Other likely features

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC was released recently, and iQoo has confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will sport this new chipset. Just as a refresher, this chipset offers a peak clock speed of 3.4 GHz. The brand claims that it is 25% more powerful than its predecessor and can also offer 45% higher efficiency than the same.

The iQoo will be equipped with the Vivo's custom-developed V2 Image Signal Processor (ISP). The brand claims that this feature improves portrait shots and also delivers a better video recording experience in low light.

The iQoo 11 will also come with a triple camera setup. It will come with a 50 MP Samsung GN5 primary camera, 13 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto unit. It will also have a 16Mp selfie camera. The smartphone will also have a 5,000 mAh battery capacity with support for 120W fast charging.
