Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil its first-ever book-style foldable device, the iPhone Ultra. While the Cupertino-based tech giant is yet to make an official confirmation on the product, it is expected to be introduced sometime this fall along with other iPhones from the series such as the iPhone 18 Pro. In fact, previous tips and images already give us an idea of how the gadget might look. And now, thanks to a recent tip coming from a video, we learn more about the upcoming iPhone Ultra. Here’s everything from the launch timeline, specs, price and more we know about the Apple iPhone Ultra.
Tipster Majin Bu posted a video on its official X handle showcasing the device from multiple angles. The alleged design of the upcoming Apple iPhone Ultra confirms that the device will have a book-style horizontal fold with a passport-like, wider 4:3 aspect ratio when opened.

Moreover, the leaked footage also shows that the device may launch with a horizontal pill-shaped camera module on the rear panel. The device’s two volume buttons and a SIM tray are positioned along the top edge, which can be seen when the device is folded. The right side reportedly houses the power button along with Apple’s Action Button to smooth the control for the users.
Lastly, the leaked design further hints at the inclusion of a USB Type-C charging port and a stereo speaker setup.

The Apple iPhone Ultra is anticipated to launch with the Apple A20 Pro chip. It is also expected to feature 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The book-style foldable smartphone is rumoured to sport a 7.8-inch LTPO OLED foldable display on the inside. Additionally, it is expected to support a 120Hz ProMotion adaptive refresh rate. On the outside, the handset is anticipated to feature a 5.5-inch LTPO OLED display. Leaks further suggest that the outer screen may be protected by Ceramic Shield glass.
Reports also indicate that Apple could bring back Touch ID, integrated into the power button. Moreover, the lack of face ID can be because of limited space inside the extremely thin body of the phone.
Talking about the camera, the device may launch with a dual-camera system, which includes a 40MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. The device is also expected to include either an 18MP or 24MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
