Akai has launched its 2026 Summer Collection of appliances in India as part of its Har Ghar Zero Summer initiative. The new range includes Direct Cool refrigerators and the updated Nilgiree Split Inverter air conditioners. These are said to be designed for Indian summer conditions, especially in regions where temperatures regularly cross 45°C.
The new Akai refrigerator and air conditioner lineup is now available via offline retail stores and the Akai India website. You can buy the fridge lineup starting at Rs 16,398 and the AC lineup starting at Rs 31,490.
The company is also offering no-cost EMI options on select purchases.

Nilgiree Split Inverter AC range
The 2026 Nilgiree Split Inverter AC series is available in 1 Ton and 1.5 Ton capacities with 3-star to 5-star energy ratings. The company says the ACs can cool even when outdoor temperatures reach up to 55°C.

Akai has also launched a new Direct Cool refrigerator series with ‘Deep Direct Cool’ technology. The range includes compact mini refrigerators between 48 litres and 100 litres, alongside larger models ranging from 165 litres to 230 litres.
