Google has extended its free access to Gemini Omni for a limited period, offering users in India a few more days to try out its new AI-powered video production tool without having to pay for a Google AI subscription. The company is retaining the 10 free video generations per user but is using the offer to let users sample Gemini Omni’s advanced capabilities, including generating videos from text prompts, photos and existing video clips. The platform is now offering editing, remixing and polishing of movies via follow-up suggestions, making the creative process more interactive and adaptable. Google first announced the limited-time free access on July 30, allowing the Gemini users to try the latest Gemini Omni without subscribing to Google AI plans. The company has kept the same limit of 10 free video generations despite extending the offer.
Gemini Omni supports more than simple text prompts, as it allows the users to create videos from text, images, or even existing video clips. Not only that but the AI tool also allows people to edit, remix, or transform content instead of starting every project from scratch.
Google has also designed the experience to be conversational, as once the users generate a video, they can continue refining it with follow-up prompts instead of creating a completely new project each time. This makes it easier to adjust scenes, styles, or ideas until the result matches what they want.

Google has officially announced that the free Gemini Omni offer is available until August 12 at 12:30 AM IST. During the promotional period the users will be allowed to generate up to 10 videos for free, eliminating the need for purchasing Google AI subscription plans.

Using Gemini Omni for free is straightforward; all you need to do is head to the Gemini app website and sign in with your Google account. Once done, select Create video to begin from the tools section.
Now, you can enter a text prompt or upload an image or use an existing video as the starting point. The Gemini Omni will then produce a video based on your input. If the first output isn’t quite what you had in mind, you may keep the discussion going with the AI and ask it to make improvements or build new versions.
