iPad Pro M5 vs Samsung Tab S12 Ultra: South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The latest Ultra version is set to rival Apple’s flagship iPad Pro tablet. However, the Tab S12 Ultra will offer a larger display and an S Pen in the box.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra vs Apple iPad Pro: Specifications

Display: Samsung’s Tab S12 Ultra gets a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The iPad Pro comes with a Tandem OLED 120Hz panel in two sizes (11-inch and 13-inch).

Performance: Under the hood, the handset gets a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset for day-to-day multitasking. The iPad Pro is powered by Apple’s M5 chip.

Software: The S12 Ultra runs on One UI 9 based on Android 17 out of the box. iPad Pro debuted with iPadOS 26 in 2025.

Battery: While the Tab S12 Ultra gets an 11,600mAh battery with 45W charging support, the iPad Pro comes with 31.29-watt-hour (11-inch) and 38.99-watt-hour (13-inch).

Camera: The Samsung offering sports a 13MP primary and an 8MP ultrawide rear lens and a 12MP ultrawide selfie shooter. The Pro iPad comes with a 12MP wide rear lens and a 12MP Center Stage camera.

Other features: The Samsung offering includes an S Pen inside the box and comes with Adobe Photoshop. Plus, the IP68-rated offering gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the other hand, the iPad Pro gets Face ID.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra vs Apple iPad Pro: Price

The base variant (Wi-Fi) of the Tab S12 Ultra is listed at a starting price of Rs 1,49,999 on Samsung India’s website. If you want the 5G variant, you will have to shell out Rs 1,64,999 for the 256GB base trim. On the other hand, the base iPad Pro 11-inch (Wi-Fi) starts at Rs 1,39,900, and the cellular connectivity variant starts at Rs 1,63,900.
