After introducing its latest generation of foldable smartphones, Samsung is now preparing for its next launch event. The company has confirmed that it will host its next Galaxy event next week. The event will focus on a new smartphone joining the Galaxy S26 series. Samsung has not revealed the name of the device yet, but its announcement points towards the Galaxy S26 FE. The phone is expected to offer several features from the flagship Galaxy S26 lineup at a lower price. Below is everything you need to know about the next Samsung Galaxy event.
Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy event will take place on August 27. The virtual event will start at 9:00 PM KST. This converts to 5:30 PM in India on the same date. It will be streamed live on YouTube.
In its announcement, Samsung said: “On Aug. 27, Samsung Electronics will hold ‘Galaxy Event August 2026’ to introduce the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family — purposefully designed to bring the core Galaxy S26 experiences from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI, to those who look for what truly matters most to them.”

The biggest announcement is expected to be the Galaxy S26 FE. Samsung has shared a video with the event date announcement which hints at a redesigned camera module of the Galaxy S26 FE. It also hints at a light-green colour option. However, the Galaxy S26 FE may not bring major hardware upgrades. Leaked specifications suggest that it could be very similar to the Galaxy S25 FE.
At its August 27 event, Samsung may introduce the Galaxy Tab S12. There is also a possibility that the company could reveal new Galaxy Buds. However, Samsung has not confirmed these products yet.
