Samsung is finally rolling out the stable version of One UI 9, the Android 17-based update for its Galaxy S26 series. One UI 9 first arrived with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 series in July, and Samsung is now rolling it for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Plus and the standard Galaxy S26. The new software update brings My FanCam, Generative and Editable Cards to the devices. In addition, it introduces several Galaxy AI features, including Now Nudge, Creative Studio, Interpreter, Document Scan, and Voice Recorder. The current rollout is happening in South Korea and other selective markets. Here’s when the stable One UI 9 update will arrive in India.
One UI 9 brings several new features aimed at making Galaxy phones more useful and easier to manage. One of the notable additions is My FanCam, which can automatically track a subject and adjust the video frame while recording. Samsung is also adding Generative and Editable Cards to Now Brief, giving users more ways to view and manage information.
The update also adds warranty and care details directly inside the Settings menu. Samsung is expanding its Galaxy AI features with tools such as Now Nudge, Creative Studio, Interpreter, Document Scan and Voice Recorder. Aside from that, the One UI 9 also introduces Security Brief, Privacy Alerts and Scam Detection to give users more information and protection while using their devices.

Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra as the first devices receiving the stable One UI 9 update. However, other than that, the company also confirms a partial list of the devices that will get the One UI 9 update.
The devices include the Galaxy S25 and S25 FE, Galaxy S24 and S24 FE, Galaxy S23 and S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
On the tablet side, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, Tab S11, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 Plus, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 are listed.

Samsung has not provided a specific India release date for One UI 9 in the information available so far. However, you can expect to receive the stable version of the One UI 9 to reach your devices in the next few days.
