Hybrid intelligence in Windows

Hybrid intelligence in Windows will focus on AI agents that can run locally, access the cloud and offer security in commercial use. The experience will bring “frontier-class capabilities to local PCs” and enable services such as GitHub to “route intelligently” in the OS.

Further, Copilot will be able to use local information from a user’s PC, run local models and take actions. The AI agents can write code and access files without external intervention, Microsoft said. Further, the platform also announced that Meta’s Muse AI agent will be available on Windows soon as a native app.
