Apple is all set to host its ‘Surprise and Shine’ event this week, where the tech giant is likely to unveil several new products. One of the main highlights is expected to be the launch of new Pro models: iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Apple may also finally enter the foldable phone market with its long-rumoured iPhone Ultra. In a memo sent to employees last week, new Apple CEO John Ternus described the upcoming launch as “phenomenal.” Here is everything you need to know about Apple’s upcoming event, including the India timing, how to watch it live and what products could be announced.
Apple’s ‘Surprise and Shine’ event will take place on Wednesday, September 9. The event will begin at 10:30 PM IST in India. You can watch the event live through the Apple Events website on a browser. The livestream will also be available on the official Apple YouTube channel and the Apple TV app.

At the event, Apple is said to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both phones are likely to use Apple’s new A20 Pro chip. Camera upgrades are also expected on the new Pro models. Alongside the new Pro models, the tech giant is expected to introduce its first foldable iPhone. The iPhone Ultra has been rumoured for a long time and could become the biggest announcement of the event.

The company may also launch the Apple Watch Ultra 4. The new smartwatch could feature improved health sensors, a faster chip and some design changes. The Apple Watch Series 12 is also expected to be announced. It could come with a faster S-series chip and an always-on heart monitor. A ceramic version may also be offered.
At the Surprise and shine event, Apple may also introduce AirPods 5. The new earbuds are expected to come in standard and ANC versions and may feature a newer chip.
