Apple Surprise and shine event
Apple is gearing up to host its Surprise and shine event on September 9. At the event, the tech giant will most likely introduce its new Pro models, including the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, alongside its long-rumoured iPhone Ultra. New Apple Watch models are also expected to make an appearance. In a memo to employees earlier this week, new Apple CEO John Ternus said that the upcoming launch is going to be “phenomenal.” Here is what you can expect from Apple’s Surprise and shine event next week.
At its Surprise and shine event, Apple is expected to unveil its new Pro model- the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both devices are said to be powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and may come with major camera improvements.
Apple may finally enter the foldable smartphone market. The iPhone Ultra is expected to be the company’s first foldable iPhone. Its launch is expected to be the main highlight of the event.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is also expected to arrive. The new model could get updated health sensors and some design changes. A faster chip and other improvements are also expected.
Apple may also introduce the Watch Series 12, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. It is expected to feature a faster S-class chip and an always-on heart monitor. It may also come in a ceramic version.

Alongside the new iPhones and smartwatches, Apple may also introduce AirPods 5. The company is expected to offer both standard and ANC versions. A newer chip is also possible. Recent rumours about AirPods with cameras are unlikely to materialise this year, with that product reportedly pushed to 2027.
With six major products expected, Apple’s September 9 event could be one of its biggest launches yet. The iPhone 18 Pro models and the first foldable iPhone are likely to draw the most attention.
