AI startup Anthropic has introduced a new offering called Claude for Small Business, designed to help small business owners manage everyday work with the help of AI. The company describes Claude for Small Business as a ‘package of connectors and ready-to-run workflows that put Claude inside the tools small businesses depend on.’
Claude for Small Business is said to work with popular platforms such as Intuit QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. The company says users can simply connect their existing apps and allow Claude to handle different tasks. Users still have to approve actions before anything is sent, posted or paid.

Anthropic says Claude for Small Business includes 15 ready-made agentic workflows designed for finance, operations, sales, marketing, HR and customer service. It also comes with 15 built-in skills focused on common tasks that many small business owners struggle to manage daily.
One of the highlighted features is payroll planning. ‘Settle your QuickBooks cash position against incoming PayPal settlements, build a 30-day forecast, rank what’s overdue, and queue the reminders for you to approve and send,’ Anthropic said.

Another feature focuses on monthly accounting work. Anthropic says Claude can reconcile books, flag mismatched transactions, generate a simple profit-and-loss summary and prepare a month-end packet that can be shared directly with accountants.
Other tools include invoice chaser, margin analyser, month-end prepper, tax-season organiser, contract reviewer, lead triager, content strategist and more.
Anthropic says businesses will remain in control of all actions. ‘Every task and workflow you run within Claude is initiated by you. You approve the plan first or, when you’re ready, let it run end-to-end,’ the company explained.
