Adobe has finally brought its Premiere mobile video editor to Android in India. With the new app, the Android users will now be able to edit their videos on their smartphone itself. Adobe Premiere Mobile brings several features to the Android device, including multi-track editing, frame-accurate controls, 4K video export, AI-powered audio tools and more. Not only that, but the Android version also gets an Enhanced Audio feature that uses AI to reduce background noise and improve voice clarity. The Premiere mobile is built around video editing on a smartphone, with the users being able to work with multiple video and audio tracks at once. They can add music, voiceovers, text and effects. Not only that but they can also use their own media as an overlay. The app supports editing and exporting videos in up to 4K without an additional charge.
Aside from the above-mentioned, it also gets an Enhance Audio feature that allows the users to reduce background noise and improve recording clarity when using the tool. This can be particularly helpful for interviews, voiceovers and social media videos. Adobe has clarified that the feature was added specifically after the feedback from Indian creators.
The app also includes Firefly-powered generative AI features bringing the Generative Fill, Image-to-Video and Generate Sound to your Android device. Keep in mind that while the main editing tools are free, you still need to pay to access certain AI features and extra cloud storage.

Adobe says Premiere on mobile is not just a smaller version of Premiere Pro. Instead, it was built specifically for people who create videos on their phones.
The app comes with features like a multi-track timeline and precise, frame-by-frame editing, both of which are available in Premiere Pro. However, these features have been optimised and redesigned to work seamlessly on smaller screens.
The company is also planning to add Adobe Fonts, more music options, and a feature called Beat Sync, which can automatically match video cuts to the music. And the best part? All of these features will be available for free.

Adobe has also revealed that the company is planning to create regional templates around India’s festive calendar. Not only that, it will also provide captions in regional languages, starting with Hindi.
Adobe Premiere mobile is available for free on the Google Play Store for Android users in India and on the App Store for iPhone users.
