Acer has announced three new Android tablets ahead of Computex 2026. The Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12 and Iconia Duo D12 all adopt a 3:2 aspect ratio display, which Acer describes as a format balanced between media consumption and productivity. All three run Android 16, support microSD cards up to 1 TB, offer up to 10 hours of battery life and are compatible with optional accessories including an Active Stylus, a magnetic kickstand and a detachable keyboard.
The S14 is the flagship of the new lineup with a 14.2-inch 2.8K OLED display at 2,880 x 1,840 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, a 91% screen-to-body ratio and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. At 6.2 mm thick and 0.73 kg, it is one of the slimmer 14-inch tablets in this segment. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS storage. Two USB Type-C ports support both DisplayPort input and output, meaning the tablet can function as a portable monitor or output to a larger screen.
The camera setup includes a 13 MP rear camera with a secondary 5 MP macro lens and an 8 MP front camera, supported by dual microphones and quad stereo speakers. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The S14 launches in North America in September 2026 and in EMEA during Q3 2026.
The S12 brings much of the S14’s display quality into a smaller 12.2-inch form factor. The OLED panel here runs at 2,800 x 1,840 pixels with 600 nits of brightness and uses nano-texture glass for anti-glare and anti-fingerprint protection. The chipset steps down to a Dimensity 7400 with the same 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It has a single USB Type-C port, dual stereo speakers and Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.3. It weighs 0.58 kg and is housed in an aluminium alloy chassis. The S12 launches in North America in August 2026 and in EMEA during Q3 2026.
The D12 brings the 3:2 format to a more accessible price point. The 12.2-inch display here is a WQXGA LCD panel at 2,400 x 1,600 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is a step down from OLED. The chipset is the MediaTek Helio G99 with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of storage. It has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. It shares the same 8,000 mAh battery as the S12 and the same accessory compatibility. The D12 also launches in North America in August 2026 and in EMEA during Q3 2026. Pricing for all three tablets has not yet been announced.
