Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is now just a few months away, and excitement is growing with every passing day. Rockstar Games has released two official trailers of GTA 6 so far. Trailer 1 was released in December 2023, followed by trailer 2 in May 2025. Despite releasing two trailers, the studio has not shared extended gameplay footage of the game yet. Fans like me are eagerly waiting for trailer 3. According to recent reports, the wait may not be much longer, as trailer 3 is expected to arrive in the coming weeks. Rockstar Games has not confirmed the release date of GTA 6 trailer 3. However, reports suggest that the next trailer may be released between late July and mid-August 2026 on studio’s social handles. The expected timeline also matches Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call on August 7, 2026.

GTA 6 is set to launch on November 19, 2026. At launch, GTA 6 will only be available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date. Based on the company’s previous launch pattern, the PC version could arrive around 12 to 18 months later.
GTA 6 comes in two editions: Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition. The Standard Edition is priced at Rs 5,999, while the Ultimate Edition costs Rs 7,499. The Standard Edition includes the base game. The Ultimate Edition comes with the base game and an Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Both versions are available for pre-order through the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
Players who pre-order either edition before November 20 will receive a one-month GTA+ subscription and the Vintage Vice City Pack. Buyers of the Ultimate Edition will also get the Ultimate Edition Upgrade.

Gamers should stay alert of online scams. Reports say scammers are sending fake emails that claim to offer access to a GTA 6 beta programme before launch. These emails promise early access to the game, but Rockstar Games has not announced any public beta of GTA 6.
