GTA 6 new character confirmed and you might already know him

In less than five months, GTA 6 will arrive and needless to say, that is all the entire gaming community will be talking about. Pre-orders for the game are set to go live in two days and as we approach the date, some more details about the game have started to surface. Now, Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped about much of the game’s cast, but another character has now been revealed through a rather unexpected source. The latest information comes not from a trailer or a developer update, but from an actor’s professional resume. Yes, you read that right. The leak not only introduces a new GTA 6 character, but also connects the upcoming blockbuster to another highly anticipated video game that PlayStation fans have been waiting years to play.

Marvel’s Wolverine actor appears to confirm GTA 6 role

Actor Brett Gipson has listed being a part of GTA 6 on his resume thereby revealing that he will be playing a character named Ellis in the upcoming open-world game. Now even though the details about the character remain under wraps, the listing identifies Ellis as a supporting role.

Also, Gipson may already be familiar to you as he is set to play Sabretooth in Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac Games’ upcoming superhero title. The actor has also appeared in projects such as Borderlands 4 and Stranger Things: Tales from ’85.

At the moment, it is unclear how significant Ellis will be to GTA 6’s story. Rockstar has already introduced several supporting characters, including Jason’s friend Cal Hampton and his boss Brian Heder, but Ellis has yet to appear in any official trailer, screenshot, or promotional material.

Not the first GTA 6 casting leak

This is not the first time GTA 6 casting information has surfaced through an actor’s resume. Several performers have been linked to the game in a similar manner over the past few months. Actors Katie Burke, Ignacio Navarro, and Massi Furlan have all reportedly disclosed their involvement in Rockstar’s next blockbuster, although details about their characters are still being kept under the wraps.

The leak also arrives at a time when GTA 6 marketing appears to be gathering momentum. Fans are hoping for a third trailer when pre-orders for the game open up on June 25. However, Rockstar hasn’t confirmed anything about the trailer so far.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC launch date is yet to be revealed.
