Welcome to the Jungle revolves around a businessman who has illegal money. He comes up with an unusual plan to turn it into legal money. He decides to finance a fake film that he expects to fail. The losses from the project would then help him hide where his money actually came from.
For his plan, he gathers a group of struggling actors, filmmakers and gangsters. Things soon go wrong when their original movie set is destroyed. The team then shifts production to a village located close to a jungle. The villagers mistake the actors for real soldiers. The situation becomes even more chaotic when the group encounters a terrorist gang.
