Pritam and Pedro is the debut of the filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who serves as the series creator, co-writer, producer, and editor. The show is directed by Avinash Arun, known for his work on Paatal Lok and School of Lies. The lead roles feature Arshad Warsi as a reluctant, old-school cop and Vir Hirani as a tech-savvy cyber expert, marking his acting debut. The supporting cast includes Vikrant Massey as a dangerous cybercriminal, alongside Mona Singh and cameos from Sanjay Dutt.
