Panchayat season 5 release date when officially announced for Amazon Prime Video
Only a few Indian web series have managed to win audiences over the way Panchayat has. Since its debut, the show has become a favourite among viewers because of its relatable characters and realistic portrayal of village life. Unlike many shows that depend on high drama and action, Panchayat focuses on everyday experiences and human emotions. After four successful seasons, fans are eagerly waiting to know what’s next in the story. From the release timeline to the cast, here is everything we know so far about the fifth season of Panchayat.
In the fourth season, Manju Devi, who had been serving as the village Pradhan, lost the election and Kranti Devi took over the position. Meanwhile, Abhishek Tripathi was managing his responsibilities as the village secretary while preparing for a better future. He focused on his studies and eventually cleared the CAT exam. In season 4, we also saw the growing bond between Abhishek and Rinki.

The upcoming season is expected to bring new challenges and opportunities for Abhishek. After successfully clearing the CAT exam, he may choose to leave Phulera for better opportunities. However, taking the decision won’t be easy as he has formed deep connections with the village residents. Fans can also expect to see the bond between Abhishek and Rinki grow. Also, Kranti Devi may bring fresh tension to the story as she takes the role of the village head.

The makers have not revealed an exact release of Panchayat season 5. However, it has been confirmed that the next chapter will premiere in 2026. Just like the previous season, Panchayat season 5 will also stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. The new chapter is likely to feature returning cast members including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Sanvikaa, Faisal Malik and Chandan Roy.
