Alongside the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power, Motorola has launched the Moto Buds 2 in India. It is aimed at people looking for feature-rich true wireless earbuds under the Rs 3,000 segment. The new earbuds bring features like LDAC support, Hi-Res Audio, dual dynamic drivers, and up to 55db active noise cancellation.
You can buy the Moto Buds 2 at Rs 2,999 in India from May 25 through Motorola India, Flipkart, and leading retail stores across the country.
The earbuds will be available in the following colours:
The Moto Buds 2 packs an 11mm + 6mm dual dynamic driver setup. Motorola says the combination is designed to deliver ‘rich, layered sound with enhanced clarity and depth’. There is support for Hi-Res Audio, the LDAC codec, and Spatial Audio.
For noise cancellation, Motorola claims up to 55dB Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation. The earbuds also support Transparency Mode, allowing outside sound to pass through when users need situational awareness.
For calls, it has a six-microphone setup combined with Environmental Noise Cancellation and CrystalTalk AI. Motorola says the system is designed to reduce background disturbances and improve voice clarity during calls, especially in noisy or windy environments.
Additional features in the mix are Moto AI feature, Bluetooth 6.0, Dual Connection support, Wear Detection, Gaming Mode, Moto AI integration, Fit Test functionality, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The case carries an IPX2 rating.
Finally, Motorola claims a battery life of up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 53 hours combined with the charging case. There is fast charging support, too, with 10 minutes of charging claimed to deliver up to three hours of playback.
The inclusion of LDAC, dual drivers, and aggressive ANC at Rs 2,999 means Motorola has a strong value proposition on paper.
