Lenovo goes all-in on hybrid AI at IFA 2026 with new Yoga, IdeaPad, ThinkCentre and Motorola devices

Lenovo introduced two Yoga laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, including a convertible model with pen input on its display and touchpad.

Qira is expanding to more Lenovo PCs, Motorola smartphones and the new moto watch ultra, alongside deeper app integrations.

The commercial portfolio includes new ThinkCentre AI desktops, ThinkBook laptops, ThinkVision monitors and two experimental laptop concepts.

Lenovo arrived at IFA 2026 with one of its broadest product portfolios in recent years. At Lenovo Innovation World in Berlin, we saw the company apply its Hybrid AI strategy across consumer laptops, tablets, commercial PCs, monitors, security services, Motorola devices and a handful of forward-looking concepts. The announcements were tied together by Lenovo and Motorola Qira, the company’s personal AI system. However, the most significant hardware reveal was arguably the arrival of NVIDIA RTX Spark in the Yoga family. Lenovo is using the platform to build Windows laptops capable of running larger AI models and more demanding creator workflows locally. The company also introduced the colourful IdeaPad Vibe series, redesigned IdeaCentre all-in-one PCs, new ThinkCentre desktops, lightweight ThinkBook laptops and four ThinkVision displays. Motorola also made an appearance with a new edge smartphone, smartwatch, wireless charger and a Swarovski-decorated razr.

Lenovo Qira expands across PCs, phones, apps and a smartwatch

Lenovo’s “one personal AI, multiple devices” strategy took another step forward at IFA. Qira is now being expanded to eligible Lenovo PCs equipped with 16GB of memory, lowering the previous hardware threshold and bringing the software to more mainstream configurations. Lenovo says Qira is already supported across more than 80 PC configurations, along with select tablets and Motorola smartphones. The assistant currently supports six languages, with further device families and form factors expected to be added before the end of 2026.

On Motorola devices, Qira will arrive alongside the Android 17 update for eligible Moto edge, razr and signature smartphones. The rollout will be gradual and will vary according to the device and market. The moto watch ultra will become the first Motorola wearable to support Qira. Users will be able to raise their wrist or use the “Hey Qira” command to ask questions and access information drawn from Qira’s cross-device knowledge.

Lenovo is also extending what the assistant can do inside commonly used applications. A collaboration with Workato connects Qira with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar on supported devices. Microsoft Teams is also included among Workato’s supported productivity and collaboration integrations. Moreover, the system can interpret a natural-language request and, after requesting approval where required, perform actions such as sending an email or creating a meeting. Lenovo is additionally working on Notion integration and expanding Qira’s connection with Perplexity for research, visual references and project information.

Qira follows a hybrid, local-first model. Information added to a user’s personal knowledge base is encrypted and stored locally where supported. When a request needs cloud processing, Lenovo says only the prompt and relevant context required for that request are transmitted through encrypted cloud services.

NVIDIA RTX Spark comes to the Yoga range

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 are the headline PCs in the new portfolio. Both use NVIDIA RTX Spark, which combines an NVIDIA Grace CPU, Blackwell RTX graphics and the CUDA software stack in a laptop platform. Configurations can include a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 cores. Lenovo is positioning the machines for local AI development, multi-agent workflows, high-resolution video editing, 3D rendering and RTX gaming.

The Yoga Pro 9n is the performance-oriented option. It supports up to 128 GB of 9,400 MT/s LPDDR5X unified memory and as much as 4 TB of storage across two SSD slots. Lenovo’s X Power cooling system is designed to sustain an 80 W thermal envelope while keeping operating noise below a claimed 22 dB. Its 15.3-inch PureSight Pro OLED display has a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, a variable refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and a claimed HDR peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The panel covers 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 and sRGB colour spaces and carries DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification. Despite its workstation-like positioning, the Yoga Pro 9n starts at 1.65 kg and is 16.7 mm thick at its thinnest point. Other hardware specs include a 92.5 Wh battery, a 9.2 MP IR camera, two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, two USB-A ports and a UHS-II SD card reader. 

The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 places greater emphasis on convertible use. It combines the same RTX Spark architecture with up to 64 GB of unified memory and a 360-degree hinge supporting Laptop, Tablet, Tent, Stand and Canvas modes. Its unusual dual-surface pen system allows the Yoga Pen Gen 2 to work on both the 16-inch OLED touchscreen and the haptic Force Pad. That makes it possible to use the touchpad as a drawing, editing or timeline-control surface without reaching up to the display. The 16-inch PureSight Pro OLED panel has a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a claimed 1,100-nit HDR peak brightness. Lenovo has also fitted a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system, with two tweeters integrated into a rotating soundbar so that they remain front-facing in the device’s different operating modes. The convertible carries a 99.9 Wh battery and weighs 1.94 kg. Pricing and release details for both RTX Spark Yoga laptops will be announced later when the products are about to hit the market.

New Yoga tablets: Pen input overhauled

The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Gen 2 extend Lenovo’s pen-first approach to Android tablets. Both devices support the Tab Pen Pro 2, with 8,192 pressure levels, tilt detection and palm rejection. Pen gestures include squeezing to select, clicking the rear button to draw and flipping the stylus to erase. Both tablets ship with Android 17. Lenovo is promising seven operating-system upgrades, taking the devices through Android 24, along with security updates until 2033.

The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is the larger and more powerful model. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and has a 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a claimed peak brightness of 1,100 nits. Configurations will be available with up to 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of internal storage, while a microSD card slot supports capacities of up to 2 TB. A 12,700 mAh battery, 68 W charging support, six Harman Kardon speakers and an optional magnetic clamshell keyboard complete the package. It weighs 605 g and is expected to start at €849.

The more portable Yoga Tab Gen 2 weighs approximately 480 g and uses an 11.1-inch 4K display, again with a 3:2 aspect ratio and refresh rates of up to 144 Hz. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s and can be configured with as much as 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. The smaller tablet carries an 11,000 mAh battery, supports 68 W charging and works with a detachable keyboard and stand. It is expected to start at €649. Both tablets are scheduled to become available in September 2026.

Lenovo also demonstrated Smart Canvas Concept using the Yoga Tab Gen 2 and the Yoga AIO i Aura Edition. The experimental cross-device experience lets a user begin work using pen, voice, camera or touch on one compatible Lenovo device and continue it on another.

IdeaPad Vibe with seven colour options

With the IdeaPad Vibe series, Lenovo is placing as much emphasis on personalisation as specifications. The 14-inch and 15-inch laptops will be offered in Dreamy Violet, Spicy Gold, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Radiant Coral, Moody Blue and Lowkey Grey. Snapdragon X configurations support Copilot+ PC features and up to 24 GB of memory. AMD versions will use up to Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, with upgradeable dual-slot memory supporting as much as 32 GB and SSD expansion up to 1 TB. Intel-powered models are also planned for a later date.

Depending on the configuration, buyers can choose OLED panels covering up to 100 per cent of DCI-P3 or 120 Hz IPS displays with up to full sRGB coverage. The laptops start at 1.3 kg and include two SSD slots, USB-A and USB-C ports, HDMI and a microSD card reader. Lenovo will also sell replaceable keycaps for further visual customisation. The IdeaPad Vibe range is expected to arrive in October 2026, starting at €799.

IdeaCentre AIO i receives a cleaner redesign

The IdeaCentre AIO i will be available with 23.8-inch and 27-inch Full HD displays, up to a 120 Hz refresh rate and optional touch input. Lenovo has removed the prominent central computing box traditionally located behind the display, producing a slimmer-looking all-in-one design. The stand provides 30 mm of height adjustment and a tilt range from minus 5 to 15 degrees.

The new models use Intel Core Series 3 processors with up to 40 platform TOPS of AI performance. Configurations support up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and two SSDs. And a new RGB Adaptive Lighting system offers start-up, standard and music-reactive lighting modes. Other options include a 5MP IR camera with a physical shutter, wireless charging, Harman audio, six USB ports and combined HDMI input and output. The IdeaCentre AIO i will be offered in six colours, with matching wireless keyboards and mice available. It is expected to launch in November 2026, starting at €999.

ThinkCentre X Ultra brings local AI to a 1.6-litre desktop

The ThinkCentre X Ultra is Lenovo’s new compact system for organisations running local AI workloads. Its 1.6-litre chassis can be configured with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, Radeon 8065S graphics and up to 128 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. Up to 96 GB of that memory can be allocated to graphics workloads. The system supports two PCIe SSDs and provides 10 Gb Ethernet, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1. Up to four ThinkCentre X Ultra systems can be linked as a cluster, combining their compute and memory resources for larger models, longer context windows and simultaneous AI requests. Lenovo is also integrating the system with the AMD Ryzen AI Developer Center, providing preconfigured tools and workflows for Windows and Linux. The ThinkCentre X Ultra is expected in November 2026 with a starting price of €3,100.

Lenovo also introduced the ThinkCentre M75q Gen 6 tiny desktop and ThinkCentre M75s Gen 6 small-form-factor PC. Both support up to AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450-series desktop processors, 50 TOPS NPUs and 64 GB of DDR5 memory. The M75q can drive as many as four displays and is small enough to mount behind a monitor. The larger M75s offers more internal expansion, including PCIe slots, two M.2 SSD positions and an optional Radeon RX 6400 graphics card. The M75q will start at €999, while the M75s will start at €1,059. Both are expected in October 2026.

ThinkBook range adds Qualcomm and Intel options

The ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 uses the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform and delivers a claimed 80 TOPS of combined AI performance. It can be configured with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory, a 1TB SSD and either a standard or touch-enabled 14-inch WUXGA display. Lenovo claims up to 26 hours of local video playback from its 50 Wh battery. The machine starts at 1.3 kg and includes two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader and Wi-Fi 7. It is expected in October 2026, starting at €1,099.

The ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 takes a different approach, prioritising size and weight. It starts at 990g and measures 12.9 mm at its thinnest point. The laptop uses Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors and offers a choice between a 2.8 K 120 Hz OLED panel and a WUXGA 120Hz LCD touchscreen. Memory extends to 32GB, with support for up to 2 TB of storage. It will be available in Luna Grey, Celestial White, Mystic Violet and Veil Blue. The ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 is expected to arrive in September 2026 at a starting price of €1,079.

Four new ThinkVision monitors for hybrid work

Lenovo’s monitor announcements are led by the 34-inch ThinkVision P34WD-4v. Lenovo describes it as the first Thunderbolt VoIP monitor certified by Microsoft. The curved 21:9 WQHD display combines Thunderbolt 4 docking and daisy-chaining with a 5 MP camera, Windows Hello authentication and AI-assisted framing. Its refresh rate can vary between 24 Hz and 120 Hz, while integrated sensors can adjust brightness, detect when a user leaves the desk and warn when someone may be looking over their shoulder.

The ThinkVision P27UL-40 is a 27-inch 4K InkJet Printing OLED monitor. It covers 99 per cent of DCI-P3 and 100 per cent of sRGB, carries DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and uses an RGB pixel layout intended to improve text clarity and reduce colour fringing. Lenovo also announced the 31.5-inch ThinkVision T32UD-4v and 34-inch ultrawide ThinkVision T34WD-4v. Both include Microsoft Teams certification, Windows Hello, USB-C docking with up to 100W power delivery and variable refresh rates ranging from 48Hz to 120Hz. The T34WD-4v is scheduled for December 2026 at €599. The P34WD-4v follows in January 2027 at €1,099, while the P27UL-40 and T32UD-4v are due in February 2027 for €1,099 and €799 respectively.

For security, Lenovo introduced ThinkShield TraceLock, powered by Absolute Security. On supported ThinkPad models with always-on WWAN, IT teams can remotely locate, wake, lock or wipe a device, including when it is switched off or disconnected. Prompt Security, a SentinelOne company, is also being added to the ThinkShield portfolio to help businesses monitor generative AI usage, establish governance policies and reduce the risk of sensitive information being exposed through AI services.

AeroBlade and Swan: New cooling and foldable screens

Not everything Lenovo showed in Berlin is headed to shops. Project AeroBlade and Project Swan are proofs of concept intended to explore possible future business laptops. Project AeroBlade is a 14-inch notebook measuring under 10mm thick and weighing less than 830 g.

It replaces conventional fans with Lenovo’s Active Flow solid-state cooling system, developed with Frore Systems and based on AirJet technology. The concept combines a magnesium-aluminium body, OLED display, Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 7. Lenovo says the cooling system is intended to sustain AI workloads without the noise, dust intake and mechanical complexity of a fan.

The other interesting concept was Project Swan which explores an expandable display. It functions as a conventional 14-inch 4:3 notebook when closed, but its screen can roll out into a 17-inch 16:9 workspace. Even with the mechanism, Lenovo lists the concept at 17.9 mm thick and 1.6 kg. As is the case with concept devices, neither device has a price or commercial release date.

Motorola adds a 200MP edge phone and moto watch ultra

Finally, Motorola also had a couple of announcements beginning with the motorola edge 70 plus. The smartphone combines a quad-curved design with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a large battery and a 200 MP camera sensor. The sensor uses 16-to-one pixel binning to produce 12.5 MP images. The moto watch ultra combines Wear OS, LTE eSIM connectivity and fitness and wellness data powered by Polar. It is also the first wearable designed to work with Motorola Qira on compatible devices.

Motorola additionally announced the moto snap wireless charger, which supports magnetic attachment when used with compatible cases. The cases are sold separately, and Motorola notes that using one may reduce charging speeds. Finally, the company expanded its Brilliant Collection with the motorola razr with Crystals by Swarovski. The special edition combines a PANTONE Meteorite finish with individually positioned Swarovski crystals, presenting the foldable as a fashion-led variation rather than a new generation of razr hardware.

Taken together, Lenovo’s IFA 2026 portfolio shows that its Hybrid AI push is moving beyond simply placing an NPU inside every PC. Qira is becoming the connective layer between devices and applications, while the hardware underneath it is diversifying considerably, from compact local-AI clusters and RTX Spark creator laptops to colourful mainstream notebooks and experimental rollable screens.
