1. Imran played by Farhan Akhtar is seen having a fear of skydiving in the movie but in real life, he's a certified skydiver, and Arjun played by Hrithik Roshan is a certified scuba diver but his character is afraid of water.
2. Katrina Kaif's introduction scene on the beach was shot on a nude beach. The production crew had to continuously request people to move out of the frame.

10. When the script was written by Farhan in 2007, he was going to direct the film with Shah Rukh, Hrithik Roshan, and Vivek Oberoi. Shah Rukh later dropped out and Hrithik was signed for his role. The role Hrithik was going to do would now be done by Abhay Deol Vivek Oberoi's role went to Farhan Akhtar. However, there was no script finalized then, so they shelved the film.
11. The title of the film is derived from a song in the 2008 film 'Rock On!' which was also produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
