Winkle Twinkle Movie (2026)

Winkle Twinkle follows Sabyasachi Sen, a fiery political activist whose life is abruptly interrupted in the mid-1970s when he vanishes from police custody. Decades later, he returns to find that Bengal, his family, and the ideals he once fought for have all transformed beyond recognition.

His homecoming slowly becomes a confrontation with time itself. Sabyasachi is forced to navigate a world where old loyalties have faded, political certainties have blurred, and the people he left behind have built lives without him. His son, now a grown man with beliefs of his own, becomes a living reminder of everything he has missed.

As he struggles to reconnect with his family and make sense of a society that no longer resembles the one he knew, Sabyasachi is pushed to question whether his lifelong convictions still hold meaning in a changed world. The film blends personal loss with Bengal's shifting political landscape, turning one man's disorientation into a poignant reflection on ideology, memory, and the cost of standing still while the world moves on.
