The Storyteller is a Hindi movie directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, based on Satyajit Ray's short story "Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro." The movie stars Paresh Rawal as Tarini Bandopadhyay, a gifted storyteller from Kolkata who has held numerous jobs. He is hired by Ratan Garodia (played by Adil Hussain), a wealthy businessman from Ahmedabad, to narrate bedtime stories to help him overcome insomnia. As Tarini begins his new journey in Ahmedabad, he discovers that Garodia has ulterior motives and is using his stories to impress a former love interest, Saraswati (played by Revathy). The movie is streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
