It is a mature Bengali film for the first time in a long time. It captures the themes that every common person can relate to. For a long period, particularly in the 1990s, Bengal did not create many positive results, as most films were fumbling in the dark. From a gloomy standpoint, the topics in the 1990s were primarily shattered human ties. This film is very focused on the issues it wishes to highlight, and it does so in a lovely way. Rupa Ganguly’s character outlines the issues women face in family life in a complex but intrinsically strong persona.
A complicated but very genuine topic was handled in the film, and the filmmaker did not take any shortcuts to provide a simplistic answer; instead, the film progressed in its own natural path and ended perfectly. The plot centres around a dysfunctional family's quest to live a normal existence in the face of several hardships.
