Elumale (meaning “Seven Mountains”) is a gripping Kannada romantic thriller set in 2004, against the backdrop of the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border. The story follows Harisha, a Mysuru cab driver, and Revathi, a wealthy young woman from Salem, whose plan to elope spirals into chaos.
What begins as a tender love story quickly turns into a night of survival when their escape collides with forest brigands, weapon smuggling linked to Veerappan, and a high-stakes police operation (Operation Cocoon). As law enforcement closes in and violence erupts in the MM Hills, Harisha and Revathi’s bond is tested by forces far beyond their control.
The narrative unfolds almost entirely over one tense night, weaving romance with suspense, political undercurrents, and the unpredictability of fate.
