Vivo has recently launched two new smartphones in the Indian market, notably the Vivo X300 FE and the Vivo X300 Ultra. The devices will join the existing Vivo X300 lineup that currently boasts the standard Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. The recently launched Vivo X300 FE is in direct competition with the previously launched OnePlus 15R. Though both the smartphone comes with somewhat similar specs in terms of processor, capabilities and more. The smartphones land in different price brackets, and the primary audiences for both the devices are very different. In this article I’ve covered a spec-based comparison of the Vivo X300 FE and OnePlus 15R to help you make an informed decision.
The Vivo X300 FE features a compact 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels. Furthermore, the panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness.
On the contrary, the OnePlus 15R has a bigger display of 6.83 inches and is of AMOLED type. It features 1.5K resolution support and has a maximum peak brightness of 3,600 nits in bright sunlight. Additionally, it comes with a high 165Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo X300 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm along with the Adreno 829 GPU. Apart from that, the phone also includes 12GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage space. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 17 out of the box, which is an Android 16-based skin.
On the contrary, the OnePlus 15R also features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor built on a 3nm process. The handset is equipped with the Adreno 840 GPU and offers 12GB RAM along with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. Furthermore, the handset runs on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16.
The Vivo X300 FE includes a capacity of a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging technology, while the OnePlus 15R has an even larger silicon-carbon battery of 7,400mAh supporting 80W wired charging technology.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X300 FE is equipped with a 50MP camera module at the back, supported by a 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide camera at the back end. At the front, the phone uses a 50MP camera for selfies.
Alternatively, the OnePlus 15R incorporates a rear dual-camera system that combines a 50MP sensor camera with another ultra-wide camera of 8MP at the back. The front camera is made up of a 32MP sensor camera.

Vivo launched the base variant of the X300 FE with a price tag of Rs 79,999, while the OnePlus 15R was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 47,999.
