Google Pixel 11a leaks: Search giant Google announced the Pixel 11 series in August this year. As a pattern, the company unveils the ‘a’ series device early in the subsequent year. On these lines, the tech giant is expected to announce the Pixel 11a in 2027. And ahead of a possible debut, we may already have a bunch of details about the device.
In a recent report, Android Headlines leaked the alleged CAD renders of the device along with the specs. While incremental changes to key specifications are rumoured, the design is expected to remain similar to the current Pixel 10a. Pixel 11a will likely sport a 6.3-inch full HD OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 3,350nits peak brightness. The bezels around the screen are expected to remain the same as the Pixel 10a. Under the hood, the handset is expected to sport a Tensor G6 processor, a Titan M3 security chip and 8GB RAM.
As for the battery, the Pixel 11a could house a 5,100mAh cell. Speaking of the optics, the phone is anticipated to offer a 50MP main and 13MP ultrawide rear cameras and an upgraded selfie shooter. Google will likely follow its traditional 7-year update policy and ship the phone with Android 17 out of the box.
The phone is expected to use a MediaTek modem, unlike the Samsung one on its predecessor. Lastly, the handset could debut in four colours – silver, green, purple and black. Google will likely follow a Pixel-like naming scheme, such as Fog, Olive/Pistachio, Orchid/Frost and Obsidian for these colours, the news site noted.
Google Pixel 11a is expected to debut at a higher price than its predecessor. The report estimates a $100 hike compared to the Pixel 10a, which could bring the expected price to $599. In India, we can expect the device to sit in the sub-Rs 60,000-70,000 price category. Google will likely announce the phone in February or March 2027.
