Vivo is reportedly planning to bring back its S series after seven long years. While the company has been tight-lipped about the existence of the upcoming Vivo S2 device, leaks and rumours are giving users an idea of how the smartphone may look. It is tipped that the upcoming S2 lineup from Vivo will arrive in two storage configurations and three colour variants. The handset is also expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC under the hood along with a triple camera system on the back panel. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Vivo S2 phone.

Do note that these are not official prices, and they will only be revealed at the time of launch. The official launch price may vary from the currently tipped retail prices depending on the bank and card offers announced at the time of launch.

While the company has been tight-lipped about the launch of the smartphone, early reports indicate that the Vivo S2 could land in the Indian market in early August 2026.
Aside from the pricing, the image shared by the tipster also revealed that the users will get three colour options to choose from, which will be the sapphire blue, regal bronze and silk white.

Rumours suggest that the upcoming Vivo S2 will launch with a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It’s also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Talking about the performance, the handset is said to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and an internal storage option that goes up to 256GB. Out of the box, the smartphone might run on ColorOS 16, which is a skin based on Android 16.
Vivo is also expected to ship the device with a 7,000 mAh battery that would support 80W of wired fast charging. Along with that, the smartphone is also said to get wireless and reverse wireless charging capabilities.
In terms of camera, the smartphone is said to feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For video calls and selfies the device could also sport a 32MP camera at the front.
