Motorola is gearing up to launch its all-new Signature 27 in the Indian as well as the global market. For those unaware, the company showcased the Signature 27 at the Snapdragon Summit 2026 in September 2026 and confirmed that the device will sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. However, aside from that, the leaks and rumours also point to big changes in camera and display modules when compared to the current Motorola Signature device, which was launched back in January 2026. Here is a detailed spec-based comparison between the current Motorola Signature and the upcoming Motorola Signature 27 to help you understand what may get upgraded or downgraded.
The Motorola Signature features a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate. Not only that, but it also supports Dolby Vision and can reach a peak brightness of 6,200 nits when used under bright light, as per the company’s claims.
The upcoming Motorola Signature 27 is said to come equipped with a 6.8-inch tandem OLED panel which is similar to its predecessor. However, the refresh rate of the upcoming device is rumoured to be just 120 Hz, which would be a big drop when compared to the Motorola Signature. However, some reports suggest that it would remain 165 Hz, much like the current Motorola Signature. When used outdoors, the smartphone display is expected to reach a peak brightness of 12,000 nits.
