Motorola is all set to expand its G-series lineup in India with the upcoming Moto G Max. The smartphone is anticipated to come packed with a combination of premium features and powerful hardware for the segment. While the company has been tight-lipped about the upcoming smartphone, Flipkart has recently launched a microsite for the device which confirms that the handset might have the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 CPU along with a 7,000mAh battery. The smartphone may also pack a 50MP Sony LYT-600 OIS sensor. Rumours also suggest that the device may also run on Android 16 out of the box. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Moto G Max specifications, launch date, and expected price.
According to the specifications page, the Moto G Max will feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may offer 5,000 nits of peak brightness when used outdoors. The display is also tipped to house Gorilla Glass ceramic protection to keep it safe against scratches. Not only that, but the smartphone may also bag IP64 certifications.
Under the hood the device is said to draw its power from the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and may get coupled with 6GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a UFS 3.1 internal storage that goes up to 128GB.

The handset is anticipated to come packed with a 7000mAh battery and may come with 30W wired charging support. Out of the box, the smartphone is tipped to run on Android 16 with Hello UI benefits. The company is also said to offer 2 major operating system updates and 3 years of security patches.
In terms of optics, the smartphone is teased to feature a dual-camera setup at the back, including a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 OIS main and 8MP ultrawide sensors. The smartphone is also said to come equipped with a 32MP lens at the front for selfies and video calls.
Flipkart has recently put up a microsite where they confirmed that the Moto G Max will be landing in the Indian market on August 14, 2026.
Early reports suggest that the Moto G Max will be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. However, do bear in mind that the official pricing will only be announced at the time of launch and may differ depending on bank and card offers.
