After much anticipation, Motorola is all set to introduce the Edge 70 Pro+ for the Indian market. This will join the existing Edge 70, Edge 70 Pro and Edge 70 Fusion and is expected to offer a good all round performance. The microsite of the device is already live and the company has started teasing some details about the device. Now, the design and camera details, along with the colour options, have surfaced online. Here is everything that we know so far about the upcoming phone.
While Motorola has not officially confirmed the exact launch date yet, reports suggest that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ could debut in India by the end of May 2026 or early June. The phone is expected to be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 49,999.
The company has also confirmed three Pantone-inspired finishes for the device. These include Pantone Chicory Coffee with a sculpted wood texture, Pantone Stormy Sea featuring a twill-style finish and Pantone Zinfandel with a satin-luxe rear panel design.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ may debut with a 6.8-inch 1.5K quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device can feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It is also said to get a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging alongside wireless charging support. It is also expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box.
As for the camera, Motorola is said to offer a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony LYT-710 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation. The setup is also expected to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x digital zoom through Motorola’s Super Zoom Pro technology. On the front, the phone could feature a 50MP selfie camera.
The device may also get IP68 and IP69 certification for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H durability certification.
