Apple has recently launched its new flagship devices, the iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro. However, many users soon reported several issues with the device, which include Face ID failure, display reorientation issues, visual glitches and more. The Cupertino-based tech giant is now reportedly gearing up to ship an iOS update that could fix the issues that are currently faced by the users. Apple has not officially announced the name or exact release date of iOS 27.0.1 yet. However, according to a report by 9to5Mac, Apple has told the publication that it plans to roll out an iOS update as early as next week. MacRumors has also previously reported that the Cupertino-based tech giant is testing iOS 27.0.1.

Reports suggest that the upcoming iOS 27 update will not bring major changes to the system but will rather be a security and bug-fixing update. With the update Apple could potentially ship the fix for the glitches which are currently faced by the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max users.
As we reported earlier, many users have complained about issues with Face ID when accessing protected apps such as Passwords. If the first Face ID attempt fails and the user tries again, the handset can sometimes freeze and restart after a few seconds. Users have also reported issues with the display not reorienting properly after the device is rotated. In some cases, the video resizes incorrectly, resulting in a visual glitch.
Aside from the above-mentioned, the users can also expect some security updates or minor performance enhancements.
