V-Guard has introduced the new Aurina RO water purifier series in India. It is for households that are looking for compact water purifiers with integrated filtration and improved water efficiency. The new lineup includes the company’s proprietary DuoGuard filter technology, which combines pre-filtration and anti-microbial protection into a single cartridge system. The company says the Aurina range is designed to address common Indian household challenges such as limited kitchen space, fluctuating water pressure, and concerns around purifier hygiene.
The V-Guard Aurina series can be bought in four variants:
The lineup is priced between Rs 8,999 and Rs 12,499. V-Guard says the products are available through its official website and major e-commerce channels.

The new DuoGuard filter technology integrates the pre-filtration system within the main body. According to V-Guard, this ensures the whole unit is compact. It avoids additional drilling on the wall and reduces the associated clutter and hassle.
It also has a dual-cartridge setup, which includes an anti-microbial activated carbon layer for preventing microbial growth inside the filter system.
V-Guard also claims the purifier can handle fluctuating water pressure conditions more effectively. That could make the Aurina range useful in apartments or areas where water flow is inconsistent.
All variants come with a 7-litre storage tank and multi-stage purification. Depending on the model, the purifier combines RO, UV, UF and Mineral Health Charger technologies. The Mineral Health Charger is designed to restore essential minerals after purification, since standard RO purification can strip minerals from water during filtration.
The company says the purifier supports TDS levels of up to 2,000 PPM while delivering up to 40% water recovery. V-Guard also claims households can save around 12.5 litres of water daily with the Aurina series.
