Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has announced its second event for the month. Set for October 28, Apple is expected to introduce a range of MacBooks and iMacs, among other devices, at the “Pro and tell” event. For the unversed, the company recently announced its smart home products: HomeView, HomePod mini 2 and Apple TV 4K 2026 earlier this month (on October 13) in India. At the upcoming tech show, the company is said to introduce the highly anticipated MacBook Pro with an OLED panel and support for touch-based interactions, OLED iPad mini, new iMacs and a non-OLED 14-inch M6 MacBook Pro.
Apple’s “Pro and tell” event is set to be hosted in Los Angeles. The tech show’s key highlight will be the company’s first OLED Pro laptop, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported earlier. For context, besides iPhones and Apple Watches, the company offers OLED displays in iPad Pros right now. In case of laptops, this will be Apple’s biggest leap in display technology in years.

The ‘Pro and tell’ event will go live at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST) on October 28. Apple’s senior VP of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) teasing the animation of the Apple logo, which Gurman points out is “obviously…a finger touching a display and drawing” on its surface. This could be a strong hint at the touch-based capabilities of the rumoured MacBook Pro, which the journalist reported on earlier this month.

OLED MacBook Pro with touchscreen: The company may introduce two iterations of this MacBook: 14-inch and 16-inch. Apple could eliminate the notch surrounding the webcam with a Dynamic Island, similar to the iPhones. Under the hood, these devices may offer M5 Pro and M5 Max chipsets for performance and boot on an updated version of macOS 27 Golden Gate. Plus, these devices are tipped to be noticeably lighter and slightly slimmer than the current MacBook Pros.
OLED iPad mini: Apple’s upcoming mini tablet is expected to debut with an OLED display for the first time. It may offer a front camera positioned in landscape orientation and could be powered by an A20 Pro processor. Plus, the new iPad mini could offer an improved speaker setup and water resistance. Considering these upgrades, the OLED iPad mini is expected to carry a higher starting price of $799.
iMac and M6 MacBook Pro: Beyond the OLED devices, Apple is also expected to refresh the 24-inch iMac desktop and introduce a MacBook Pro powered by an M6 processor. The design of these two products will remain largely similar to the current iterations.
Meanwhile, Apple recently opened pre-orders for the iPhone Duo, the company’s first foldable smartphone, in India. If you pre-book the device right now, the delivery dates show up as late as 2027. You can read more about this here.
