Gemini in Chrome on Android

In a demo shared by the company, Gemini in Chrome is summoned on Nykaa, a beauty products shopping website, to give product recommendations and later compile a routine to use them daily.

Further, Gemini in Chrome can summarise long articles and lets you ask queries on a webpage about the information or products. To scrub information, it can connect to Google Keep, Calendar and more Google apps without switching tabs. Plus, it also allows image generation and customisation powered by Nano Banana.

Auto browse on Desktop

Google shared a demo of the “auto browse” feature in the post. The AI chat can be seen adding a recipe’s ingredients to a quick commerce platform’s cart. It can also help users automate form filling, compare products, secure bookings, order groceries, search deals and more. The agentic feature will be limited to devices configured in English.

Before submitting sensitive tasks, “auto browse” will confirm the information with the user, Google said. These capabilities are “secure-by-design” and can detect threats such as “prompt injection”. If you are a Google AI Pro and Ultra user, here is how to use the feature.
