Like every year, this year’s Indian Premier League, aka the IPL, has been smooth sailing since the start. In no time, almost half the league is over, but the hype is still on as more exciting matches are on the way now that we’re near the qualifying stages. The official broadcaster for IPL 2026 is JioHotstar, which means users must purchase a separate subscription to enjoy IPL matches. But did you know that many popular telecom operators, like Jio, Airtel, and Vi, already provide free access to JioHotstar on some of their recharge plans? Without wasting much time, let’s have a look at some of these recharge plans under Rs 500 to enjoy IPL 2026.

Starting with the market leader and the official broadcaster for this year’s IPL, Reliance Jio has quite a few plans for users, which give out free access to the JioHotstar service. While the majority of the plans are recharge plans, there are options for OTT add-on packs too. Check out the plans below:
Rs 500 plan (28 days): The Rs 500 plan for Jio is one of the best offerings. It’s called the Mega Plan and includes various OTT services like YouTube Premium, Prime Video Mobile and JioHotstar for watching IPL 2026. The 28-day pack provides 2 GB of data per day, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
Rs 399 plan (28 days): The Rs 399 plan for Jio is also one of the plans to look out for, which includes various OTT services like FanCode and JioHotstar for watching IPL 2026. The 28-day pack provides 2.5 GB of data per day, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
Cricket data pack add-ons (30 days): For those who already have an active recharge plan, Jio is also offering an add-on pack that offers JioHotstar along with mobile data. It’s valid for one complete month, and there are various data options based on different price points.
Moving on to Airtel, they also have comparatively fewer plans that allow users to enjoy watching IPL 2026. There’s a recharge plan, which isn’t exactly under the Rs 500 price segment but is quite close to that. Check out the plan below:
Rs 549 plan (28 days): While the plan isn’t exactly cutting under the Rs 500 price segment, it’s worth considering given the additions you get. It includes OTT services like JioHotstar for watching IPL 2026, along with the Airtel Xtreme Play OTT service. The 28-day pack provides 3 GB of data per day, along with unlimited voice calls.
Last but not least, Vodafone Idea, aka Vi, also has a few options for recharge plans that include JioHotstar service. There’s a recharge pack, along with an option for the OTT add-on. Check out the plans below:
Rs 399 plan (28 days): Vi offers a Rs 399 plan for their service. It includes OTT services like JioHotstar for watching IPL 2026. Though the best part is that the 28-day pack provides unlimited data usage per day, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Definitely an option worth considering if you use a lot of mobile data.
Data add-on plans (30 days): Similar to Jio, Vi also offers a data add-on plan for its customers. There are various options available that offer the JioHotstar service, along with options for different mobile data plans at different price points. Do note that these are data packs only and do not provide any calling/SMS services.
