Apple has reported record revenue in India during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, driven by strong demand for iPhones and Macs. The company said it recorded its highest-ever September quarter revenue in India and several other major markets. Apple also reported strong growth in iPhone upgrades and Mac sales during the quarter. Globally, the tech giant posted revenue of $114.5 billion, up 12 per cent from the same period last year. The results also helped Apple close fiscal 2026 with its highest-ever annual revenue of $479 billion.
According to Apple CFO Kevan Parekh, iPhone sales performed well across several markets, including India, the US, China and Japan. The company also recorded its highest-ever number of active iPhone users worldwide.
“The iPhone active installed base grew to an all-time high, and iPhone had a record year for upgraders globally and in several markets, including the US, China Mainland, India and Japan,” Parekh said.
He added that a recent survey by the World Panel found that iPhone was among the top-selling model in India, the US, urban China, the UK, Germany, Australia and Japan.
Mac sales also recorded strong growth during the quarter. Apple reported Mac revenue of $10.8 billion, up 24 per cent year over year. The company said this growth came despite supply constraints and was supported by demand for the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro. The tech giant also reported double-digit Mac growth across both developed and emerging markets, with an all-time high in regions like India and Southeast Asia.
For the September quarter, Apple’s total revenue stood at $114.5 billion, up 12 per cent from the previous year. Its diluted earnings per share reached $2.10, which marks 14 per cent year over year growth. The company also reported a gross margin of 47.9 per cent.
Apple CEO John Ternus said the company had recorded September quarter revenue records in America, Europe, Greater China and the rest of Asia-Pacific. He also highlighted the company’s performance in both developed and emerging markets.
“Apple is proud to report a September quarter revenue record of $114.5 billion, up 12 percent from a year ago, with iPhone reaching a September quarter record and Services reaching an all-time high, capping off our best fiscal year ever,” Ternus said. “We’re closing the year with our most ambitious lineup yet. That includes the iPhone Duo, the most transformational iPhone since the original, alongside iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, our most powerful iPhones yet.”
The company closed fiscal 2026 with total annual revenue of $479 billion, its highest-ever figure. It also generated $28 billion in operating cash flow during the September quarter and returned the same amount to shareholders.
With strong iPhone demand, growing Mac sales and record Services revenue, Apple is entering the holiday season on a strong note.
