Nearly two decades after the first film became a favourite among movie lovers and fashion fans, The Devil Wears Prada 2 finally hit theatres earlier this month. The sequel to the 2006 classic has already created huge buzz online, mainly because it brings back some of the franchise’s most loved characters. Fans are once again getting to see Miranda Priestly alongside Andy Sachs and Emily Charlton.
While the film is still running in theatres, many fans are now wondering when they will be able to watch the movie from home.

The makers of the film have not yet confirmed the digital release date of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Reports suggest that the movie is likely to stream on JioHotstar after finishing its theatrical run. Fans may get to watch it online sometime between August and September 2026. That said, this is only an expected timeline for now, and an official announcement is still awaited from the studio or streaming platform.

The sequel takes place nearly 20 years after the events shown in the original movie. The story once again centres around Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep, who is now facing the challenges of keeping Runway magazine relevant in a digital-driven world.
Meanwhile, Andy Sachs, portrayed by Anne Hathaway, has left the fashion industry behind and built a successful career in journalism. Emily Charlton, played by Emily Blunt, has also grown into a major figure in the luxury fashion business. The film shows how the lives of these characters cross paths again after many years.
