Bollywood has recently been filled with action films and suspense thrillers, but comedy movies are now slowly returning to cinemas. Viewers are once again enjoying light-hearted stories packed with humour, family emotions and fun misunderstandings. Joining this growing trend is Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the movie also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. The film is being seen as a follow-up to the popular 2019 movie Pati Patni Aur Woh. While the film is currently entertaining audiences in theatres, many fans are eager to know when it will arrive on an OTT platform.
The makers of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do have not yet announced an official streaming release date. However, according to reports, the film is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime between the end of June and the middle of July 2026.

The story takes place in Prayagraj and follows the life of Prajapati Pandey, played by Ayushmann Khurrana. He works as a forest officer and lives a calm and happy life with his wife Aparna, portrayed by Wamiqa Gabbi. Aparna is an investigative journalist.
The situation becomes complicated when Prajapati’s old classmate, Chanchal Kumari, enters his life. Played by Sara Ali Khan, Chanchal reaches out to him for help while trying to escape from a powerful politician named Gajraj Tiwari, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
To protect her, Prajapati secretly hides Chanchal and plans to help her move to Canada. But keeping this secret from his wife creates confusion and misunderstandings at home. At the same time, his friendship with colleague Nilofer, played by Rakul Preet Singh, makes things even more complicated, leading to funny and dramatic moments.
