After four successful seasons, fans are looking forward to the next chapter. There is finally an update on the show’s return. Director Deepak Kumar Mishra recently revealed when fans can expect the show to arrive.
The wait for Panchayat season 5 may not be very long. Director Deepak Kumar Mishra recently shared an update about the upcoming season while speaking to India Today. According to Mishra, the editing work is currently in progress. However, the makers have not locked a final release date yet. He said the new season could arrive sometime around October or November.
Panchayat season 4 focused heavily on the village elections. Manju Devi and Kranti Devi competed against each other for the Pradhan’s position. The election eventually ended with Kranti Devi winning the post. She replaced Manju Devi as the village head and took charge of Phulera.
Abhishek continued working as the village secretary. He also remained focused on his plans to build a better career. Alongside his job, he prepared for the CAT examination. His hard work finally paid off. Abhishek cleared the CAT exam, giving him a possible opportunity to leave his job in Phulera.

The fifth season could pick up from Abhishek’s CAT result. One of the biggest questions will be whether he chooses to leave Phulera for better career opportunities. However, moving away may be difficult for Abhishek. He has developed close relationships with several people in the village over the years. His equation with Rinki could also become an important part of the upcoming season. Fans may get to see their relationship develop further.
Meanwhile, Kranti Devi’s victory could bring a new phase of village politics. Her role as Pradhan may lead to new disagreements and conflicts in Phulera.
