“Ullozhukku” is a 2024 Malayalam-language drama film directed by Christo Tomy. The story is set in the flood-ravaged regions of Alappuzha, Kerala. It revolves around Anju (played by Parvathy Thiruvothu), who is married to Thomaskutty (Prashanth Murali), a chronically ill man. Anju has an affair with her long-time lover Rajeev (Arjun Radhakrishnan) and becomes pregnant with his child.As Thomaskutty’s health deteriorates and he eventually passes away, the region is hit by severe floods, delaying his funeral. During this time, Anju’s affair is discovered by Thomaskutty’s mother Leelamma (Urvashi), leading to a series of confrontations and revelations. The film explores how Anju navigates these challenges and the reactions of those around her.
