The Task is a Kannada social drama that follows Siri, a spirited SSLC student from Madikeri, who visits her relatives in Bengaluru during the Dasara holidays. What begins as a festive getaway turns into a moral awakening when Siri witnesses a grave injustice against an ambulance driver. Determined to fight for what’s right, she steps into a world of resistance and danger only to face opposition from her own parents, who fear for her safety.
The film explores courage, conscience, and the cost of standing up for truth, as Siri’s journey becomes a powerful statement on youth-led activism and the struggle against systemic apathy.
