Surya agrees. He sets himself up with Kishore and meets Raju. Talks between them are strained and Surya finds them frustrating, mocking and instigating. Raju challenges him to reign in his anger for three weeks. As a last fight, Surya beats up a local disturbing youth—who is actually the son of a dreaded gangster Challa—which angers Challa’s men.
Things go downhill over the time when Surya becomes the sole witness to Mustafa’s murder by Challa’s son. He decides to keep quiet about it. He learns to control his anger and tries to reconcile, improving his relationship with a partner from his past and his parents too.
But soon when the truth comes out accidentally, Surya takes it upon himself along with Challa to find Mustafa’s son Anwar, and help him understand that his path was dangerous to himself and the country. Surya and Challa find Anwar in Mumbai and explain to him. The film closes with Surya accepting the signature finally and hoisting the national flag at the border.
