Shankar is an efficient military person whose only objective is to bring people together. His good deeds are taken note of by the common civilians and the nation unites to help him fulfil his vow.
Shankar, an Indian Army soldier, is hurt in cross-border fire. After consulting with doctors, the senior officer advises him to take an 8-day break. Shankar asks leave instead of rest, and officers agree, telling him to report to work on the eighth day. While traveling, he assists some of the citizens and misses his train. His tale of valour and selflessness is covered by an online news reporter who is not able to do justice to the story. Later in the novel, he returns to his home and then back to duty in a short period of time. The movie covers an Indian soldier’s adventures and desire to help people through this short journey.
