Pitaah Movie (2002)

Pitaah is the story of a brutal confrontation of two fathers in a rural town. In this town, Avadh wants to kill the man who lodged a police complaint against his two sons. Rudra, a poor labourer employed by Avadh, wants to avenge her nine year old daughter, Durga’s rape and death at the hands of Avadh’s sons. 
This proves to be more and more difficult when the doctor who concluded about Durga’s rape agrees to cover it up if bribed by the Avadh enough, and when the police inspector whom Rudra approached to file a case against Avadh’s sons covers it up if the Avadh paid back his dues to him. 
This prompts Rudra to take matters in his own hands and he kills Bachhu and Bhola, Avadh’s sons, when they arrive for their court date. Conversely, Rudra provides an ultimatum to Avadh that he extends his protection to protect Rudra’s wife Paro when he will offer himself up to the police instead of washing his hands off the killing of Avadh’s sons. Avadh doesn’t agree and Rudra kills his men when Avadh orders them to kill Rudra. Avadh himself is killed by Paro. 
Rudra still surrenders to the police and is given a six month sentence and then he is set free. But that is not enough to mourn his daughter, even if he and Paro come to make peace with her murder and try to live despite.
