Minions: The Rise of Gru is an animated comedy film. It is the sequel to the spin-off prequel Minions (2015). The film revolves around Gru and is set in the 1970s when a 12-year-old Gru is growing up in the suburbs. He is a fan of a supervillain group known as the Vicious 6 and hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Gru interviews to become their newest member, however, things don’t go well. However, Gru ends up stealing a precious stone from the evil group with the help of Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, and the other Minions. All of a sudden, he becomes the mortal enemy of the vicious group. While on the run, Gru and the Minions find an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself who was fired as the leader of the group. They discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends to survive. The sweet film is an entertainer for the whole family.
