Mahendragiri Varahi Movie (2026)

Mahendragiri Varahi is an upcoming Telugu devotional mystery thriller directed by Santhossh Jagarlapudi and starring Sumanth in the lead role. The story is set in the spiritually significant region of Mahendragiri, where a dark mystery has haunted a royal family for nearly 150 years.

The plot follows Siddharth, an atheist and rational investigator who is skeptical of supernatural forces. He begins investigating a series of mysterious deaths in Mahendragiri that local people believe are linked to the wrath or curse of Goddess Varahi (Varahi Maatha).
According to local legend, Varahi Maatha manifested in Mahendragiri by the command of Lord Shiva and became the presiding deity of the region. For generations, members of the royal family have died under unexplained circumstances, and these tragedies are widely attributed to the goddess's curse. Determined to uncover the truth, Siddharth challenges centuries-old beliefs and embarks on a quest to solve the mystery.
