Maargan Movie (2025)

Maargan is a fantasy murder mystery thriller directed by Leo John Paul in his directorial debut. The film stars Vijay Antony as Dhruv, a senior ADGP from Mumbai, who travels to Chennai to investigate a series of bizarre murders.
Dhruv is on the trail of a serial killer whose chilling modus operandi involves injecting victims with a mysterious drug that chars their bodies. As the investigation deepens, Dhruv himself becomes a victim; half of his body is left charred after being injected with the same drug.

The case leads Dhruv and his team to a suspect named Tamilarivu (played by Ajay Dhishan), who is placed in solitary confinement in an attempt to "bring out the devil in him." The psychological tension escalates as Tamilarivu begins to unravel, and the line between man and monster blurs, suggesting that the term "devil" might not be metaphorical after all.

The film blends crime, mystery, and supernatural elements, and features a strong ensemble cast including Samuthirakani, Brigida Saga, Mahanadhi Shankar, and others.
