Lineman is a Kannada movie that is set in the quaint village of Chandakavadi. The film centers around Nata, a dynamic, educated, and principled young man who works as a lineman, responsible for managing the power supply in the area. The story unfolds as the village prepares to celebrate the 100th birthday of Sharadamma, an elderly midwife renowned for her countless successful deliveries. In honor of her birthday, she persuades the entire village to endure a few days without electricity. The film explores the challenges faced by the villagers during this period without power. Directed by Raghu Shashtry, Lineman features Thrigun, Kajal Kunder, B. Jayashree, and Harini Srikanth in lead roles. The movie was released theatrically on March 15, 2024.
