HIT: The 2nd Case is an action-thriller film which is a sequel to HIT: The First Case (2020). The movie is based on the life of a police officer, Vikram who works in CID. He falls in love with Neha who is his colleague and a forensic official. However, he is forced to put his feelings aside and focus on the investigation of Preethi, a girl who went missing. Vikram Rudraraju is a cop in CID, where he works in the Homicide Intervention Team HIT. He is a very sharp person, who solves crucial cases with his ability to capture even the smallest of details. He has earned the trust of his seniors and is tasked with finding the missing girl.
As the story unfolds, we find that Preethi was an orphan who was adopted at a very young age. However, there was another girl who was waiting to be adopted who died due to some health problems. It is revealed that the girl’s sister was enraged as she feels that if her sister was adopted instead of Preethi she might have been saved.
